The band started their set with "7 Nation Army", from the album Elephant, and played a blistering mix of old classics such as "The Big Three Killed My Baby" and "You're Pretty Good Lookin".  They also threw in a few new favorites like "Hardest Button to Button" and "Cold Cold Night". The crowd didn't seem to care there were plenty of empty seats, as many fans crowded the front of the stage and the aisleways.

As usual, Jack's guitar playing was amazing. He received loud ovations for his solos in "Ball and Biscuit" and "Death Letter".  During "Let's Build A Home" Jack's Domino Dawson guitar quit working, so he tossed it aside and finished the song, including guitar solos, on the piano. Jack and Meg were in a great mood throughout the show, but only addressed the crowd once. The band closed the set  with "Boll Weevel",  which included the typical crowd sing-along. Chicago is in store for a fantastic New Year's Eve!  - -Matt Caruana
