Hey rock fans — note that the Funtelligence show scheduled for Saturday at the Magic Stick has been canceled. Instead the Stick presents “Working Stiff Saturday” with live bands and no cover.
“Convenience fees” will soon be the least of our worries.
The hipsters in the D are buzzing today with the annoucement that everyone’s favorite band, The Strokes, will be gracing us with their presence on October 16th at the State Theatre. Joining them will be the much hyped band Kings of Leon. Tickets go on sale friday morning at 10 a.m. at all the usual locations. This show is before The Strokes new album comes out so everyone will get to hear a bunch of songs they don’t know.
