Sights Sign to New Line Records

Who knew? The Sights have signed to New Line Records.

EDIT - Apparently this is super old news that never reached your somewhat incompetent MCR crew. We just found it today on the New Line website, but apparently they recorded the album last spring – much of which with former drummer Dave Shettler, who has since joined the Detroit Cobras. New drummer Mike Trombley is on two tracks. The album, mostly recorded with Jim Diamond, is slated for an early 2005 release. New Line is the distributor, but they are actually signed to James Iha’s (Smashking Pumpkins) Scratchie Records. Thanks to Bruce Pates for getting us the long overdue lowdown.
