ANN ARBOR PUNK BOOK
Photographer Stefan Peterson has published a book on the Ann Arbor punk scene between 1994 and 2002. IN A WOUNDED STATE – The Demise of Ann Arbor’s Music Underground consists of 88 pages featuring 107 black and white photos. Peterson says, “I captured, over these 8 years, bands such as the Short Dead Dudes, Mazinga, Nadsat Nation, Chore, Easy Action and The Baby Killers (later know as the Von Bondies) keeping a local musical legacy alive. I also captured hometown legends Scott Morgan, Ron Asheton, Deniz Tek and Hiawatha uniting to continue what they started many, many years ago.” You can order it here.
