Rag Wrap - January 20, 2008
The highlight of my rock weekend had to be The Beggers' Steven Tuthill's ripped pantalones during their opening slot for the Hottness CD release party at Small's on Saturday night. Even though the Universal Temple of Divine Power ripped through one hell of a tight set (I'm partial to dueling guitars), The Hotness definitely stole the show. Also, Danny and Tony of the Muggs were spotted in the crowed.Head on over to the recently redesigned "It Came From Detroit" movie web site for their latest podcast which includes outtakes from their 2002 Dirtbombs interview.
The Gore Gore Girls are mentioned in February's Thrasher Magazine which is on stands now (page 190). Might as well catch up with Thrasher's 2007 interview with the Detroit Cobras and 2005 interview The Dirtbombs while you're at it.
