Nathaniel Mayer Suffers Stroke

Legendary Detroit R&B legend and all around rocker Nathaniel Mayer is is recovering at a Detroit Hospital from a stroke he suffered last Sunday.

The 64-year-old Mayer has had impressive career including a Top 40 hit record in 1962 with the song “Village of Love.” In recent years, Mayer has performed or recorded with members of The Detroit Cobras, The Black Keys, Outrageous Cherry, The Dirtbombs, SSM and The Sights.
