This weekend is the Detroit River Days, which offers a varity of free music. Local Michigan rock performers include; Taproot, The Verve Pipe, The Howling Diablos, Universal Temple of Divine Power, Broadzilla, Hotness, The Twistin Tarantulas, The Deadstring Brothers, and Korin & Augie of The Hard Lessons.Once again, hometown hero Alice Cooper will will play the Michigan State Fair in Detroit on Wednesday, August 27.
