Hi-Speed Dubbing is super-fuzzed and full of texture. They have a unique sound and are ready to let loose the full vision. After a 2009 e.p. they are set to release a full length album on Jan. 28th at the Woodward Avenue Brewery.
Their last e.p. was called “Songs From a Post-Apocalyptic Future” and it was just that. The four tracks are discordant, electric, and dystopic and feels like an experimental trek through the dark future. There is a punk feel to the music while still maintaining a slow, creeping gloom. Imagine listening to a groove-laden blues song while it is then muffled, distorted, and filled in with strange whirling waves of slow-motion ambiance. Get the e.p. here – free.
Their new release is called “The Way of the Future.” They are planning the release for their show at the WAB with Prussia and Marco Polio and The New Vaccines.
