The Hamtramck Blowout is a big deal. 200 bands over the course of 3 days at 15 venues. The single best music event of the year (in my honest opinion). If possible I would clone myself like in the movie Multiplicity (yeah, it sucked, so what), and hit up several bars at the same time and see every show I wanted to see. But that’s not possible (that I know of), and so for all of us we have to make some terribly difficult decisions as to who we are going to see.
To help you decide Motor City Rocks is going to attempt the impossible. We want to interview all 200 bands during the month of February to help the fans decide who to give their eye time to on March 3rd – 6th. That’s right, all 200 bands (which I’ll estimate is at least 600 people… but because everyone in Detroit is in three bands, maybe it will be 200 people 3 times…..).
