Adult. The electronica duo whose name ends
with a
period (they even offer grammatical tips on their website). The
duo
has turned up in a variety of incarnations with a variety of names. If
you can't locate them by their name however, you can recognize them by
their style... electronica with a retro sound and occasional hint of
Detroit punk. The Ersatz Audio
artists first released a record under the name Adult. in 1998
with Dispassionate Furniture. Their latest effort, Anxiety
Always, was released in 2003 to a warm reception. When not
recording or performing, Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller run Detroit
alt-electronica label Ersatz Audio.
