Auburn Hills is one of the newer Detroit suburbs and is located about thirty miles outside of the city. There are five points of interest near Auburn Hills - The Palace (home of the Detroit Pistons, Shock and host to many large concerts), DTE Energy Music Theatre (outdoor amphitheater that hosts large summer shows), Meadowbrook Music Festival and Great Lakes Crossing (sizable shopping mall) and the world headquarters of Chrysler.
