Formed in 2005 by former New Grenada guitarist Shawn Knight and El Boxo’s Danny Sperry and Zach Norton, Child Bite brings a diverse range of musical talent to create one of the most high energy, art rock punk bands that the Detroit music scene has every produced.  Part of what makes Child Bite so unique is their ability to incorporate a wide ranging instruments such as saxophone, organ, bango and even violin and then mix it all together with a highly rock driving, keyboard leaning, blues explosion. Add in the subtle humor and trademark facile hair and you have arguably one of the best live bands in the Midwest.

Since their first release in early 2007, Child Bite has been one of the many talented musical acts signed to the Ann Arbor based indy rock label Suburban Sprawl Music.
