Located in the Detroit enclave of Hamtramck, the Painted Lady opened up in the fall of 2004 in the location that used to be know as Lily’s 21, and just like it’s predecessor the Painted Lady is known for it’s live rock and punk shows. The bar is also made famous in the lines of the song “I’m Through With White Girls” by the Detroit rock band the Dirtbombs.
