Silent Years
Formed while in High School in early 2000, pop rock group The Silent Years reemerged on the Detroit music scene after finishing college in 2005. Through The Silent Years many lineup changes, the heart of the band has always been the vocal and song-writing ability of frontman guitarist Josh Epstein.
The Silent Years are known their creative, viral music videos and have received tremendous national attention from their performances at South by Southwest. The Silent Years have charted in the CMJ top 100 radio charts and been honored with praise form noted media outlets as NPR, The Onion an Spin Magazine. The Silent Years are also sought-after headliners and have been know to sell out venues whenever they play Metro Detroit. In early 2009, The Silent Years signed with noted California lable SideCho Records.
